The BCBP vision
All airlines must be Bar Coded Boarding Pass (BCBP) capable by the end of 2008, and by the end of 2010 all boarding passes must be BCBP. When the 2010 deadline is reached, BCBP usage will result in an annual $800 million saving to airlines. Ross Falconer spoke with Eric Leopold, Project Manager, BCBP, IATA, about the progress that is being made in terms of mobile check-in and bar code innovation.
